Maths Week 2017 runs from October 14th – 22nd. In school this week children will participate in maths quizzes, maths trails and lots of problem solving activities. Best of luck to the Duffry Rovers in their hurling County Final versus St. Mogue’s Fethard tomorrow at 2pm in Wexford Park from all the staff and pupils in St. Colman’s.
We are taking part in the ‘To the Moon and Back’ challenge in support of the Irish Heart Foundation starting tomorrow October 5th. We decided to run it this week in conjunction with Space Week as we will all be learning about the planets and our Solar System in a fun and activity filled way. All money raised will go straight to the Irish Heart Foundation and if the school raises over €750 we will receive a sports bag full of equipment to help promote physical activity. There will be a Parents Association meeting in the school tomorrow night October 3rd at 9pm. All parents are welcome, especially new comers.
Social Night
The new committee of the Parents Association are organising a Social Night for parents to come together and share a meal in The Holy Grail on Friday 13th of October at 7:30. Three course meal for 18 euro.
